SIMS (Sports Injury Monitoring System)

System Requirements:

• Microsoft Windows® XP/Vista/7
• 400 MHz Pentium processor or equivalent (minimum); 1GHz Pentium processor or equivalent (recommended)
• 96 MB of RAM required, 256 MB of RAM recommended
• Hard-disk requirements will vary based on the number of athletes and the degree of detail you are recording. For most users, 1 MB per 100 athletes, per year, will suffice. The software itself requires 50 MB hard-disk space (in addition to the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 system requirements outlined below).

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 System Requirements:

The SIMS installer will automatically download and install .NET Framework 3.5 if it is not detected on your system.

• If .NET Framework 3.5 is not already installed on your system, up to 500 MB additional hard disk space may be required. Please click here for the complete Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 system requirements.
• If you will be installing to multiple workstations, we recommended that you download the full .NET Framework 3.5 package, and install to each workstation prior to installing SIMS. This will avoid the installer having to download the framework from each workstation. Click here to download the full .NET Framework 3.5 package.

SIMS Training Room Companion (SIMS-TRC)

System Requirements:

• Microsoft Windows® 2000/XP/Vista/7
• Pentium 200-MHz or faster processor (or compatible)
• 32 MB of RAM required, 64 MB of RAM recommended
• Access to a SIMS version 4.0 (or later) database
• OPOS compatible magnetic stripe reader (optional)

Desktop Requirements:

• SIMS version 5.2 or later (see requirements above)

Browser Requirements (for input of athlete data):

• JavaScript must be enabled
• Cookies must be enabled
• Works with most modern browsers, including:
  • Firefox 2.0+
  • Internet Explorer 6+
  • Safari 3+
  • Opera 10.6+
  • Chrome 8+

Pocket SIMS

Desktop Requirements:

• SIMS version 4.5 or later (see requirements above)
• ActiveSync 3.5 or later on Windows XP; Windows Mobile Device Center on Windows Vista/7.

Handheld Device Requirements:

• Windows Mobile 5.0, or Windows Mobile 6.x operating system. Not compatible with non-touchscreen operating systems such as Windows Mobile 5.0 for Smartphone and Windows Mobile 6 Standard.
• 12-15 MB available program memory

SIMS for the Palm

Desktop Requirements:

• SIMS version 3.0 or later (see requirements above)
• Palm Desktop version 3.0 or higher

Handheld Device Requirements:

• Palm operating system version 3.0 or higher
• 1 MB available memory
