External licenses allow you to install SIMS to computers (typically laptops) provided by your clinic, but used at an external site (e.g., a high school). These computers cannot reside at the external site, and installation of SIMS on computers at the external site is not permitted without a separate license. |

Technical Support (Annual Packages)
Annual support packages include free software updates and 24/7 toll free support. When calling outside of regular office hours (9am - 5pm central time, Mon - Fri, excluding holidays), leave a message and your call will normally be returned within an hour.

| Technical support for SIMS for the Palm and Pocket SIMS users is calculated by adding 10% to the cost of the package selected above. |
* An "early-bird" discount of 10% is available (1) when purchasing a support package at the time of the initial SIMS purchase, or (2) when renewing an existing support plan before it expires.
** Point-person support is available at a 30% discount to the normal rate. A "point-person" is a single individual who handles all support communications with FlanTech.
In other words, if a school has 10 SIMS users, only one of those users (the "point-person") would be eligible to contact FlanTech and receive support.
